Inheritance from divored parent?

my parents got divorced and I have a younger sister from the marriage. My dad got married after the divorce and has a daughter. He passed away and the new wife and daughter and my sister and I are in a trial for the split for the inheritance. What is the general split amount for this case? I have checked the probate code 6400 in california but couldn't find the right answer.
