14 month old won't lay down to sleep?

Have you tried lying down on the floor where she can see you? If I remember correctly your former question, you give her milk to help her fall asleep? So it sounds like she needs to learn to fall asleep on her own without any 'crutches' if that makes sense. You could lie down and have her lie down too, keep physical contact to start with, then gradually move further as the days go. That way she will learn to fall asleep on her own without feeling 'abandoned'.
