Help! Do I need to contact an attorney!?

My mother and father passed without willing their home to any of the 5 adult children, I'm the oldest so my question is how do I go about getting the home changed over into my name or is the house automatically mine, I already know that the home has to go to probate, my mom and dad had no outstanding bills. I know I can't leave the home the way it is in my father's name because he was a disabled veteran and so he didn't have to pay property taxes on the home. My family has suggested putting the home in all the names of the surviving children, i've never been through this before please help I don't have a clue of what to do.
